My name is Emily Mickelson and I am currently a junior at Old Dominion University. I am getting my bachelors degree in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. I will graduate this spring.

Currently I am an intern at Anthem, the health insurance company. I work on the Market and Competitive Intelligence team, which is helping me build my research and analytic skills. The internship has also helped further my communication skills.

Once I graduate I hope to go on to a career in something relating to my degree. I believe a good fit for me would be in marketing or public relations. I know that I one day want to further my education. I hope to have a masters degree by the time I am 30.
